Lid & Tray
Basically, these are an upside-down trunk. The lid is very tall compared to the tray that the equipment sits on.
These are ideal for equipment which you need instant access to, without the need for removing everything from the case. These are a popular choice for holding computer equipment such as monitors and printers.
Removable Ends
As the name suggests, this style of case has removable lids at the front and/or back, to enable access to your equipment from both sides
Removable-ended cases are useful when you need to operate the equipment from the front, whilst making all the connections from the back.
